TO HEART 2 PS3 PORTABLE
It's not portable though unless you're using a tablet / laptop and some (myself included) do prefer reading on console. You have multiple stores to buy from so obtaining VNs is easier, and there are not so many console-exclusive VNs so you'd have enough to keep you occupied easily. PC - Has the biggest library (by far) and most titles are coming to PC either via simultaneous release, or releasing first / only. If you're a fan of otome titles it'd be worth picking this up Like the PS3 though there are a LOT more titles available Japanese-only. Vita - Not supported anymore but has a nice library of well regarded titles - a few of which are exclusive (like Bad Apple Wars and even Muv Luv). It's the best portable option for the future. Stuff like Collar x Malice and Bad Apple Wars. If you want to read on TV it'll do that too, and it's getting quite a few VNs (especially otome titles) that used to be Vita exclusive. Switch - Great for portability and that'd help you read the VNs faster (ie out and about). It shares a lot of its library with Vita but is still supported for now and gets some of the VNs the Vita used to, like Robotics Notes (which I presume could've come in English). PS4 - Probably your best bet if you want to stay with Playstation. If it helps here's a subjective ranking of the options. u/kitfoxsocks linked a good list for you to look through, but if you want to read more VNs sadly you'll need to go to another platform. The Clannad PS4 release, for example, only came out physically in Japan but has English on the disc and lets you switch between the two. Unfortunately the vast majority of those are only in Japanese and only got English translations for PS4 / Switch, or PC, or even PS Vita.

Sadly, there are quite a few PS3 VNs (and well regarded ones) like Clannad (and several of Key's VNs, Steins Gate + 0 and its fandiscs, and Robotics Notes, Muv Luv, To Heart 2, and Majikoi.
